Following the debut label release ‘Fire In My Heart’ by Escape From New York Isle Of Jura presents another exotic masterpiece. Originally released in 1987 ‘It’s Never Too Hot’ by Chayell is a tropical two tracker which infuses Belgian new beat rhythms with a truly distinctive bassline. ‘Beach’ sits at 102 BPM and features a seductive vocal performance from Nina Preston whilst ‘Tropic’ on the flip is effectively the Dub version, stripping away the vox, increasing the tempo and adding more hypnotic elements into the mix. So good, DJ Harvey played both versions back to back on his famed Boiler Room set. Completely re-mastered for 2016.
